Marketing & Audience Engagement
I have grown to love marketing through my position as Class Council President where I am the sole created and designer of all of our social media ads on our account, @elcoclassof2022. I love the rush of creating an ad from start to finish and the creative process that comes along with it. My yearbook design skills have definitely helped me make my ideas into a reality. See my Class Council branding and marketing strategy to connect with our senior class through our Instagram page and see our state-winning Social Media Strategies Future Business Leaders of America campaign with my partner, Lauren Ferrari.
Future Business Leaders of America National Qualifier in both Sales Presentation & Social Media Strategies
My partner, Lauren Ferrari, and I won our regional competition, placed third in the state competition, and competed in the national preliminaries in 2021 in Sales Presentation. This year, we are competing in Social Media Strategies where we won the regional competition and won states in April. We created three campaigns total: Sweeten the Holidays for Regionals; Sweets for Everybunny for States; and Red, White, and Brew for Nationals. In each presentation, we had to establish a target market, create a slide deck, and present via Zoom. In the Social Media Strategies presentation, I created Instagram ads for the local restaurant we were promoting, the Sugar Shaker, while Ferrari created TikToks. Although we had months to work on our 2021 regional presentation, our adviser misread the due date for our 2022 presentation, so our Social Media Strategies ads, presentation, and video recording were created in just two days, but we still won the regional and state competition. 2020 and 2022 State Farm No Excuses Safe Driving Billboard Contest Winner
By winning this award with my partner, Julia Badolato, in 2020, we won an $1000 grant for our school. In 2021, I placed second winning a $500 grant for our school. In 2022, I won the competition as well, and I appeared on WGAL News8 and ABC27. Through these billboards, I have learned how to market quick, bold messages that will come across to a teenage demographic, our target audience.
